Literature Text

Dancing thoughts linger,
twisting, turning me around;
lost without focus.

Logic wars my heart.
My beating organ wars time.
Time wars everything.

Light seeps through these cracks,
casting shadows on my soul;
blinded by it all.

Gather broken parts,
piece me together again.
Just as good, you'll see.

No longer for you.
I'm not the me you once knew,
because you gave up.

Stand in line, you may.
I'm worth something more you'll see,
but not giving up.

I'm moving away.
Future holds my destiny.
Yes, a mystery.

So dance with music,
bright lights to laugh, live again;
Possibilities.

A poem of haikus, storytellin', mostly about remembering but moving on and not knowing what to expect but to embrace it.
